Destination Seneca County, in partnership with the Tiffin Municipal Arts Commission (TMAC), the Fostoria Community Arts Council, and Ballreich’s Potato Chips, is excited to announce the official launch of the Seneca County potato chip. The “Sights of Seneca County Official Chip Contest” welcomed everyone to share how they see Seneca County through artwork. The winning design was from Linda Curry Shetzer. This beautiful bag designed by Linda truly encompasses the sights and spirit of Seneca County and features the flavor Seneca Sweet BBQ.
Linda described it best when describing her entry, “Take a taste of the Sights of Seneca County. I painted places of interest where visitors and community members can take a taste of what the county has to offer. From great food, shopping, entertainment, education, and home-town feel, Seneca County has it all! The Ritz and Drive-In theaters feature distinct city and village names. This design depicts just a sample of what the county has to offer. When you take a bite of Seneca County, you always come back for more.”
A portion of the proceeds from purchased bags will go back to the Tiffin Municipal Arts Commission and the Fostoria Community Arts Council to support arts in the Seneca County community.
